It's challenging to get any business owner to invest in their own development, and our conversations with women alumni reveal additional barriers to investing in themselves, including stronger prioritisation of investment in their team first.
Frank Accounting are offering $5,000 Owner Manager Programme scholarships to two woman who have equity in a business they leads, to support them developing their skillset, support network and business. This can be used toward the cost of attending the Owner Manager Programme in 2024.
Felicity, Lee and Greg, Directors of Frank Accounting, understand how valuable and impactful the Owner Manager Programme can be - they have seen many of their clients complete the programme, and have all attended the programme themselves.
"In my experience, women tend to come up with all the reasons why not. My hope with these scholarships is we can reduce one of those reasons." explained Felicity Hill when asked why she made the decision, along with her business partners, to support another woman attending this programme.

This scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded to two women who submit the below application form before the close date of 30 November 2023. A panel of judges selected by us will have final and absolute say on who the scholarship is awarded to. The scholarship must be used towards the cost of attendance on an Owner Manager Programme by The Icehouse that begins in 2024. The Scholarship can only be used toward the attendance of the scholarship winners - it can not be transferred to someone else. The winners will be contacted and announced no later than 15 December 2023.

The Owner Manager Programme caters specifically to people who are actively involved in leading a kiwi business they have equity in, and which has annual revenue over $3M.
The Structure
